High School Athletes - The HS athletes can get a waiver to not run at the Association meet.  To do this, the

team coach (or unattached athletes) must register for the Association meet (this is a no cost registration) through

the CoachO registration (choose the HS division) AND send a waiver request to the IndianaJOMeets@gmail.com 

email address before the deadline.

We will advance the HS athletes to the Regional qualifier list.  When the Regional registration opens, the coach

or (unattached athlete) must go into the the registration and declare the athlete for the Regional competition and

pay the $15 entry fee.

Q. What is the uniform rule for team members?

A. See Rule 253 Apparel of the USATF Competition rules.

1.  The jersey or singlet worn by members of a team in cross countryshall be basically identical for each member

in color and style, and must be clearly visible throughout the race, i.e., worn as the outer garment if other apparel

items are worn underneath by one or more team members.  Because of the nature of cross country running, the

preferences if individual athletes in certainweather situations will allow other apparel items to vary widely without

penalty.
